摘要 美国是一个年轻的移民国家。美国高等教育从殖民地时期至今已经历了300多年的发展历程,形成了美国特色教育体系,创建了世界绝大多数一流大学。如此年轻的国家却创造了世界高等教育的奇迹,登顶高等教育的高峰,这是因为在独特的历史背景下,自由竞争、捐助机制、改革创新、评估机制等造就了美国开放、自由、多元、科学的高等教育发展模式,成为了美国高等教育教学质量保障体系的重要因素。 The United States is a young immigrant country. The American higher education has experienced more than 300 years of development since the colonial period. It has formed the education system with American characteristics and established the most firstclass universities in the world. It is astonished that such a young country could have created the miracle and reached the peak of higher education in the world. Among the decisive factors of the assurance system of teaching quality in American higher education are free competition, donation mechanism, reform and innovation, and evaluation mechanism, which created the the free, diverse and scientific development model of American higher education.
