摘要
从南京炼油厂的油污土样中分离出一株革兰氏阳性、无芽孢、无分枝、不运动、不抗酸、能从原油或其制品大量合成胞外多糖的杆菌。在培养过程中,形态无明显的周期性变化。在营养琼脂平板上培养,菌落圆形,微凸起,淡粉至浅桔红色,表面光滑、润泽,边缘整齐。该菌还原硝酸盐为亚硝酸盐,不液化明胶,石蕊牛奶还原,由葡萄糖氧化产酸,由乳糖不产酸。DNA 中G-C 含量在 SSC 系统中为63.12±2.02克分子%。经鉴定为一新种,由于它具有合成胞外多糖的能力,把它定名为产粘短杆菌74-230(Brevibacterium viscogenes nvo.sp.74-230)。
A strain of bacterium 74-230,whichproduces extra-cellular polysaccharide fromcrude oil and oilproducts as C-source,wasisolated from oil-contaminated soil atNanjing oil-refinery.The organism isGram-positive,nonmotile short rods,0.5×1.3—4.5μm.The cells are unbranch-ed,non-sporulating,not acid fast,andnon-pleomorphic during the developmentprocess.Colonies on nutrient agar arecircular,raised,edge entire,slightlyorangered,smooth,and moist-glistening.Nitrate is reduced slightly.Gelatine is notliquefied.Litmus milk is reduced.Glucoseis oxidized into acid,but lactose not.TheG-C-content of DNA determined in SSC-system is 63.12±2.02 mol.%.Accordingto taxonomic studies this strain is belongto the genus Brevibacterium,but it differsfrom all known species of that genus.Onthe ground of its ability to produce ex-opolysaccharide the strain is considered tobe a new species,and was named as Bre-vibacterium viscogenes n.sp.74-230.
