济源大明寺的后佛殿外檐和内檐遗存有精美的清代彩画。彩画在结构、内容、纹饰等方面既沿袭古制,又具有自身特色,体现中原地区建筑彩画的特点,层次分明、重点突出,手法轻快、画面丰美,体现了中国传统文化和社会风俗,表现出特有的社会历史文化内涵。

There are beautiful color paintings on the outside and the inside of Houfo Hall, Darning Temple, Jiyuan. These paintings follow the ancient system on structure, theme and decoration, but also have their own characteristics, which demonstrate characteristic of Central Plains culture, such as clear arrangement, focal points, briskly skill, beautiful image. These colors paintings embody the traditional Chinese culture and social customs, and show the unique cultural connotation of social history.
