In this paper the characteristics of the parallel port in SPP mode and the primary functions of MGLS?12864 LCD display module were described.A kind of method that the MGLS?12864 display module was connected to the parallel port of computer in SPP mode by the software used instead of the hardware to control display module directly was invented.The control procedure of the MGLS?12864 display module and two applied subprograms were given.
