语言符号学这门新兴交叉学科的出现是符号学与语言学内在发展的必然要求,语言符号学的建立是我国学者对世界符号学研究的重要贡献。这是对索绪尔把语言学定位于符号学这门一般学科的远见卓识的继承,从《语言符号学》到《现代语言符号学》反映了作者在这一领域的不懈探索,这是一项艰巨的事业。
