On the Modern Significance of the Moral Spirit of Confucianism

结合《公民道德建设实施纲要》的实施 ,用“扬弃”的态度去挖掘儒学的思想道德精华。就儒学“仁爱”精神 ,“诚信观”和“义利观”,“以德治民”思想三方面与新形势下的家庭美德、职业道德、社会公德的建设相联系 。

With the implementation of Program for Citizen's Morality Construction, this essay tries to excavate the moral highlights of the Confucianism, such as 'benevolence', 'sincerity', 'righteousness' and 'moral politics', which may be connected with such terms in modern time: family virtue, occupation morality, and public morality. After a comparison between these old and new terms, the modern significance of the moral spirit of Confucianism is expounded.
