要代表先进生产力,首先必须深刻认识生产力尤其是先进生产力的发展规律。对生产力发展规律的认识程度,直接关系到"三个代表"思想的落实程度。社会生产力是社会历史发展的最终决定力量。生产力有其相对于生产关系而独立存在的独特规律。实践要求我们要更加关注生产力发展的规律,依靠和利用生产力发展的规律来推动经济发展和社会进步。生产力发展的直接动力是人的需要的发展;生产力是在科学技术进步的基础上不断发展的;生产力是不断地趋向社会化而变化发展的;生产力的发展受到环境的制约。

The first of all, we should realize profoundly the developing laws of productivity especially advanced productivity if we can be the deputies of the advanced productivity. There has been a direct relationship between what extent we knowing about developing laws of productivity and we carrying out the thoughts of `Three Represents'。Social productivity is the ultimate power of development of social and history. There are particular laws of productivity that exist relatively to productive relationship. From the viewpoint of practice, we should pay more attention to the developing laws of productivity, and by which impel the development of economy and society progress. The continually developing of productivity is based upon the progress of science and technology, and its direct impetus is the development of people's demands. The development of productivity tends to it's socializing continuously and is restricted by it's environment.
