Exploring the Practice of Running a Sino-Foreign Joint School:A Case Study of the UNEC Program

中外合作办学是近十年来教育国际化趋势在中国的一种具体表现,本文通过介绍无锡南洋职业技术学院与澳大利亚新英格兰大学的合作项目——UNEC的实践及其得失,探讨了民办高校开展中外合作办学的新的合作模式,并对该项目今后的发展提出了建议。

The Running of the Sino -Foreign joint school has been developing as a result of the trend in international education during the past decade. Following an introduction of practice of the UNEC, a joint program between the Wuxi South Ocean College in China and the University of New England in Australia, this article explores both its positive and negative factors that influence its success, and the implication of the joint model to a private university in China. A brief discussion for the further running of the UNEC is provided at the end.
