把德育放在素质教育的核心位置

Setting Moral Education as the Core of Quality Education

素质教育作为培养跨世纪人才的教育思想和教育模式已成为我国教育界的共识,并逐步为社会所接受。然而,通鉴有关素质教育的文献,发现大多是从素质教育与应试教育的关系、素质教育与考试的关系及素质教育的运行机制等方面进行论证,而对德育在素质教育中的地位问题却论述得很少。本文从建立社会主义市场经济体制、应对经济全球化挑战、推动我国走向可持续发展之路、顺应国际教育改革与发展潮流以及社会对高校人才培养的质量要求等角度,具体阐述了要把德育放在素质教育的核心位置的现实意义。

Being the acknowledged education idea and mold for cultivating striding-across-century talents, quality education is being widely accepted in China. However, reading through various documents on quality education, we will find that most of them dealt with the functional mechanism of quality education, the relation between quality education and exam-oriented education and that between quality education and exams, while the importance of moral education in quality education is not a frequently discussed topic. This paper expatiates the practical significance of setting moral education as the core of quality education from the various angles as establishing socialistic market economy system, coping with the challenge from the globalization of economy, promoting continuable development, going with the tide of international education reform and development, and requesting of the society for the quality of highly cultivated personnel.
