Thoughts on Basic Modeling Design Course

设计基础造型课程对基础理论的研究,为设计基础教学提供了较为系统的认识论与方法论,成为设计专业教学内在主线,是造型设计的核心课程,是培养学生最基本设计观念和设计意识的最根本环节。在现有的教学过程中,设计基础造型教学存有明显的弊病,作为专业课重要基础的地位没有能够得以彰显。我们在教学过程中,在教学理念、模式、内容上需要认真研究、探索、改革以适应学习专业的需要,减少弯路和无用功。

The research of basic modeling design course provides the basic design teaching with the systematic epistemology and methodology, and moreover, it has become not only the immanent main body in design course teaching, but also the core in modeling design. Also, it supports the most fundamental design conception and idea for the students. However, obvious disadvantages still exist in the teaching process of basic modeling design course as people are not that well aware of the importance of the course. As a result, we should search, explore and innovate this course from aspects including theory, mode and content so that it could be used more correctly, effectively and widely.
