Brief Analysis of the Relationship between the Tradition and Modernity in Urban Landscape of Jiangnan Water Villages

本文对当前江南水乡在城市化建设中所涉及面临的地域化和国际化、传统和现代、继承与创新等方面作了浅薄分析,希望更新建设后的水乡城市景观既符合当代城市生活,具有独立性;又使人们的历史心理和城市记忆得到真正的延续,与传统城市景观产生适宜的关联性。

This article makes a brief discussion of the problems of reginalization,internationalization,tradition and modernity,inheritage and innovation,which confront Jiangnan water villages in their urbanization construction,hoping that the water valleys will reflect modern city life embeded with individuation,traditions and history.
