对胡适《红楼梦》研究的反思——兼论当代红学的范式转换

Reflection on Hu Shih's Studies on A Dream of Red Mansions:With Additional Studies on the Paradigm Shift of the Contemporary Redology

胡适对《红楼梦》的研究,奠定了当代红学研究的基础,确立了新的学术范式。但他的研究也并非白璧无瑕,尤其是在当下的学术语境中,有重新反思、以求发展的必要。本文通过研讨胡适对《红楼梦》性质之定义、研究之方法、材料之运用,以反思其研究之局限性,并在此基础上探究红学研究新路径的建设。

The foundation of contemporary Redology was laid by Hu Shih's studies on A Dream of Red Mansions, which also established a new academic paradigm for it. However, Hu's studies were by no means perfect, and tend to call for a new reflection for its further development, especially in the current academic context. Through analyzing Hu Shih's studies on A Dream of Red Mansions, including his definition of its essence, methods of study, and application of the materials, this article tries to show the limitations of Hu's studies, and, starting from this, to construct the new paradigms for the Redology.
