如今,正如Jancovich指出:"Cult is everywhere。"
In this paper I will primarily focus my study on the USA context. Nowadays, as what Jancovich pointed out, “Cult is everywhere …a cult film is quickly becoming as powerful a business force as a blockbuster.”To all appearance, the term “cult film”has become a symbol, convention, trajectory and strategy. We should ask then, why they attract ever-increasing attention? What are they trying to explore and express? And as a genre, how should we illustrate horror in cult films?
