摘要
柏拉图的《理想国》虽以对话文体为主,但对话之中亦包含了神话、寓言、诗歌等多种文体形式,这似乎与以逻辑见长的哲学著作有许多矛盾之处。语篇衔接机制如何在《理想国》的概念论证和哲学思辨中发挥作用是一个值得深入探讨的话题。本文通过结合语料库驱动和文体分析两种方法,从语篇分析的角度研究了语篇如何成功传达抽象意义,并揭示了《理想国》对话成功的关键是其对读者地位的确立和语篇衔接金字塔式语义构建模型的应用。
Dialogue with myths, poems and allegories forms the unique style of Plato's The Republic, which seems contradictory to logical style of common philosophical texts. How the mechanism of cohesion in The Republic works in the argumentation of concepts and philosophical speculation needs more explorations. The paper attempts to study how The Republicconveys abstract meanings from the view of discourse analysis by combining corpus-driven method and the stylistic analysis. It reveals the success of the text lies in the positioning of readers in the dialogue and pyramid semantic model of textual cohesion.
