摘要
听到别人说话的"听者"与主动认为这句话是针对自己的"听话人"是不同的。而使用人称的不同与是否要求听者转变为主动的"听话人"密切相关。人称是否具备要求"听者"转变为"听话人"的性质可称为"协同性"。用这样的观点考察,可以发现敬语的作用正是突出了人称的"协同性",是人称系统更加精密化的替代物。
Someone who assumed himself as the hearer of an utterance is different from the one who heard it. The usage of the category of person is closely related to the needs of an active hearer. The property of turning the one who has heard an utterance to an active hearer can be termed as 'demand of coordination'. From this perspective, the honorific speech can be viewed as a more precise standby of personal system.
