This thesis analyzes the Purloined Letter by Allen Poe based on the theory of narratology combined with the theory of isomorphism. It has explained the whole structure of this novel, the relationship between the mode of narration and isomorphism in psychology so as to help the readers dig into the theme of this novel, understand the process of the interferences so that an enjoyable feeling in aesthetics can be achieved eventually.
