歌德在《浮士德》中塑造了数以百计的各色人物,其中的浮士德和糜非斯托贯穿全剧始终,而浮士德的形象内涵最为丰富。歌德笔下的浮士德体现了人类在不断发展和探索中的迷茫与困惑,这一形象被赋予了深刻的哲学性。浮士德对无限的追求和对理想的渴望及其对欲望的释放都呈现出现代人的特征。本文通过分析浮士德面临的有限与无限、理想与现实、欲望与道德三重困境,及其面对困境时的抉择与感悟,揭示了现代人无法摆脱三重困境的现实,从而引发如何朝向"真、善、美"而生的哲学思索。

Goethe shaped hundreds of different characters in Faust in which Faust and Mephisto were throughout the play. The connotation of Faust is the most abundant. Goethe's Faust reflects the confusion and dilemmas of human beings. He is endowed with the complexity of modern men. Faust's pursuit of the infinite and the desire for the ideal and the release of the desire present the charateristics of modern men. The paper will analyze Faust from the perspective of the three dilemmas he is faced with: the dilemmas between finite and infinite, between ideal and reality, and between desire and morality. Faust's choices and inspiration of his life reveal the doomed dilemmas of modern men. Thus, it gives rise to the philosophical speculation of 'the true, the good and the beauty.'
