摘要
演讲焦虑是影响演讲效果的一个重要因素。减轻英语演讲焦虑能帮助学生提升自信,有效提高英语演讲水平。本文试图将心理学的焦虑干预手段应用于英语演讲教学,并基于英语演讲课堂实践,研究系统脱敏和认知重构对于减轻大学生英语演讲焦虑的作用。研究结果表明,经过一学期的培训,学生演讲焦虑值有明显下降,系统脱敏和认知重构训练能够有效减轻学生英语演讲焦虑的情况。
Anxiety is a major factor that influences the outcome of public speaking. Reducing public speaking anxiety will boost students' confidence and improve their speeches. This paper explores applying psychotherapies on anxiety into public speaking class and examines the effectiveness of systematic desensitization and cognitive restructuring training in reducing college students' English public speaking anxiety based on the classroom instruction of English public speaking. The results prove that students' speaking anxiety is reduced dramatically after a semester's training on systematic desensitization and cognitive restructuring, which is then considered effective ways of reducing college students' English public speaking anxiety.
