摘要
自由间接引语是现当代小说中极为常见且尤为重要的人物话语表达方式。简·奥斯汀在其最后一部小说《劝导》中,熟练运用自由间接引语这一话语形式,并通过不同的叙述视角反映人物内心活动,以此突出小说主题。本文选取孙致礼和裘因的《劝导》中译本作为研究对象并建立语料库,经过对比分析,发现不同译者对自由间接引语的不同翻译策略影响自由间接引语功能的再现与叙述视角的变化。
As one of the most essential discourse types,free indirect discourse plays an increasingly indispensable role in the most modern novel.In Jane Austen’s Persuasion,she utilizes free indirect discourse to image and reflect the mental activity from the heroine’s point of view.By conducting a comparative analysis with Persuasion’s two Chinese versions,this paper aims to find out whether the point of view has changed and the translated text expresses the same meaning in free indirect discourse as the source text does during the translation.
