摘要
法律翻译能力与一般翻译能力最重要的区别在于法律翻译的专业性及其所需的专门翻译能力。本研究运用翻译能力与法律翻译相关理论,分析了"华政杯"全国法律翻译大赛的量化和质化数据,探究了法律翻译能力的构成要素,发现法律翻译能力由语篇能力、术语能力和工具能力等要素构成。研究结果对法律翻译教学与评估具有一定启示意义。
The most important difference between legal translation competence and general translation competence lies in the professionalism of legal translation and its specific components.Based on the theories of translation competence and legal translation,this study hypothesizes the construct of legal translation competence,analyses the quantitative and qualitative data collected from the'ECUPL Cup'National Legal Translation Competition,and verifies that legal translation competence is composed of discourse competence,terminology competence and tool competence.The results are expected to provide some enlightenment for the teaching and assessment of legal translation.
