摘要
本文基于SCOPUS与CNKI数据库的265篇英文论文和199篇中文论文,对1937年以来的国内外跨文化外语教师研究进行了述评。国外研究理论取向由本质主义转为社会建构主义和后结构主义,质性方法运用增多;国内研究以本质主义取向为主,实证研究偏少。国内外研究从关注跨文化教学信念、态度转向关注教师认同、跨文化能力,发现教师在跨文化教学理解、实践、能力方面均有不足。文章最后对未来跨文化外语教师研究提出了建议。
Based on 265 English papers from the SCOPUS database and 199 Chinese papers from the CNKI database,this paper provides a review of the research on intercultural language teachers at home and abroad since 1937.It finds that in the research abroad,social-constructionist and post-structuralist approaches have replaced essentialist approaches,and qualitative methods have been more popular than quantitative methods.In the research at home,essentialist approaches dominate,and empirical studies are deficient.The research foci at home and abroad have witnessed a shift from teachers’self-perceptions of intercultural teaching to teacher identity and intercultural competence,and the research results show that teachers’understanding,practice and competence of intercultural language teaching need further improvement.The paper finally proposes some suggestions for the research on intercultural language teachers in the future.
