福建蕨类植物新种(一)

NEW FERNS FROM FUJIAN PROVINCE(Ⅰ)

本文报道第一批福建蕨类植物新种,主要采自武夷山。解放前,由于调查研究工作做得很少,对福建丰富的植物资源了解不多。近年来在福建各地采到不少标本,从中发现许多蕨类植物新种,拟陆续予以发表,为《福建植物志》的编写工作,提供第一手资料。为了避免重复,新种的中文描述,请参看《福建植物志》。新种模式标本均保存在中国科学院植物研究所。福建鳞盖蕨 Microlepia fujianensis Ching,sp.nov.

The Province Fujian situated on the south-eastern coast of China has here- tofore been little known botanically in spite of its very rich flora, for before the liberation of China little botanical exploration was carried out. The present paper is the first installment reporting the ferns discovered in past twenty years chiefly in the famous mountain Wuyi Shan in the northern part of the province. Geographically, the mountain range is a dividing line between the tropical south China and subtropical central China. It is therefore a meeting ground for the tropical flora from the south and the subtropical flora from the north, in addition to a rich endemism of its own, as shown in the present paper. All the type specimens of the new species described in the present paper are preserved in the Herbarium, Institute of Botany, Academia Sinica, Beijing.
