村上与莫言的文体特征——以比喻修辞为中心

A Comparative Study of Haruki Murakami and Mo Yan in Terms of Use of Simile

日本作家村上春树与中国作家莫言均可谓文体家。在一般读者印象中,两人的文体似乎截然不同。但若深入文本细部,仍不难发现二者存在堪可比较的文体元素。本文以比喻修辞为中心,从陌生化、幽默、通感和诗化倾向四个方面分析比较了两位作家的文体特征,以期提供优秀文本之所以为优秀文本的理由及其有益的启示性或借鉴价值。

Both Haruki Murakami,the noted Japanese novelist and Mo Yan,a Nobel Prize winner from China,are accepted as writers of style,though they are different in the eyes of average readers.A careful and critical investigation of the language fibers,the use figures of speech in particular,of the two masters leads to stylistic features comparable to each other.The paper makes a comparative study of the two masters in terms of their use of simile,based on an detailed analysis of four devices,namely defamiliarization,sense of humor,common sense and poetic tendency.The author hopes that the comparative findings well explain the greatness in the two masters’works and shed light on how to appreciate and learn from the two masters.
