摘要
人类语言具有间接性,指责/骂人话语更是如此。间接性指责话语也是一种间接言语行为。Searle的间接言语行为理论在阐释间接性话语时忽略了S(说话人)和H(听话人)的个人认知语境,不能解释S为什么绕圈子指责H以及H如何推理等问题。本文运用关联理论的重要观点即明示-推理过程、认知语境、语境效果和最佳关联等来分析间接性指责言语行为,旨在证明关联理论的阐释力强于间接言语行为理论。
Human language is indirect,esp.language of scolding or blaming someone.Indirect speech of scolding is a kind of indirect speech act.ISA(Indirect Speech Act) proposed by Searle doesn’t explain the cognitive environment of S and H respectively,thus it cannot explain why S takes round-about way to scold H and how H infers,and so forth.This paper aims to demonstrate the overwhelming explanatory power of RT over ISA,by analyzing indirect speech act of scolding within the framework of RT(Relevance Theory).
