网络改变了现代人的生活方式,英语教育是深受网络影响的领域之一。网络改变学生寻找信息的方式及习惯,同时也改变他们的语言读写行为。网络上所使用的新文本及沟通行为也是应用语言学家感兴趣的研究话题。本文探讨网络对英语教学、英语学习观念及学习方式的影响,还有网络上的英文主导及多语的新趋势对英语学习的意义。新的社会文化学习理论认为,合作而相辅相成的两人以上的学习较独自学习有效,网络与英语教育的互动关系将是英语教学的新方向。

Internet has transformed the way we live,and the English education is one of the areas which are influenced by it.Internet has changed the method and habit of searching for information;meanwhile,it has changed the students’ behaviour of reading and writing.The new text and communication behaviour are the subjects of linguistic researchers.The influence on the English pedagogy,conception and methodology is explored.The implications of English domination and multi-language tendency are also discussed.The socio-cultural study enables the interactive group learning to be more effective.The interactive relationship between Internet and English pedagogy is the new tendency of English language acquisition.
