汉英双语者交际中的语码转换现象研究

A Case Study on Code-Switching in Bilingual Speakers of English and Chinese

作为一种复杂的语言接触现象,语码转换是一种普遍存在于双语或多语者的会话情境中的交际方式。然而,这种语码的转换到底会在什么时候发生?会话者又为什么要进行这样的转换呢?本文以实地记录和问卷调查等方式,对汉英语码转换现象进行了分析和研究,旨在探讨出现这种现象的成因以及这种语言现象在交际和语言学习中可能起到的功效。

As a complicated phenomenon in linguistic contact,code-switching is a common occurrence in the situations of bilingualism and multilingualism.However,in which situation code-switching occurs and why people switch from different languages in the same discourse community? Surveys and interviews have been carried out by the author to explore the situations in which bilingual speakers of English and Chinese switch codes consciously or unconsciously and some reasons why code-switching happens there are provided.This paper aims to find out the implications of code switching in communication as well as in English language learning.
