古诗词曲文化的多样性与具体化及其英译研究——《古诗词曲英译文化视角》评介

On the Cultural Diversities and Embodiments and Their Translation in the Ancient Chinese Poetry:A Book Review on A Cultural Perspective of Ancient Chinese Poetry by Gu Zheng-yang

近年来,将文化与翻译结合起来研究已成为一种趋势。从文化角度来研究翻译,可以了解到翻译更多的丰富内涵。文化具有多样性和层级性,而古诗词曲中的文化更是如此。作为《古诗词曲英译文化探索》的姊妹篇,顾正阳的《古诗词曲英译文化视角》再次对古诗词曲中常出现的文化意象进行了分类、归纳和总结,并对其翻译规律又作了一次系统的提升。本文对该书作简要的介绍和评论。

In recent years,scholars in the field of translation studies tend to probe into translation from the perspective of culture because they hold that they can learn more about translation by doing so.Actually,culture exists in various forms,especially for the cultures in ancient Chinese poetry.Based on his book Cultural Approaches to Traditional Chinese Poetry,Professor Gu Zheng-yang made more great efforts to classify and generalize the cultural elements in ancient Chinese poetry in his newly published book A Cultural Perspective of Ancient Chinese Poetry.In the present paper,the author makes a brief introduction to and review of it.
