摘要
隐喻是一种语言现象,也是一种思维方式。本文探讨隐喻的六种功能在外语演讲中的体现以及隐喻在大学外语演讲中使用的必要性——给人以清晰的图画感,使篇章连贯,使平凡的事物焕发出光彩;同时指出实践中如何运用隐喻,从而培养学生的概念隐喻观、隐喻思维能力以及建构主义的隐喻观。
Metaphor is a phenomenon of language and a way of thinking as well.This essay explores the embodiment of the six functions of metaphor in foreign language speech teaching and the necessity of applying metaphor in speech:to impress audience with clear picture,to make speech coherent and to make common things vivid and colorful.Meanwhile,it points out how to apply metaphor in order to cultivate the students’ ability in conceptual metaphor,metaphoric thinking and constructivism metaphor.
