摘要
按照教育部和大学英语教学对学生自主学习能力的要求,各高校纷纷建立了大学英语自主学习中心。本文将以重庆大学自主学习中心使用情况和非英语专业本科新生在自主学习中心英语学习策略的使用情况为例,运用调查问卷和访谈的方法进行研究。内容包括学生使用自主学习中心的频率,对自主学习中心英语学习的评价和学习策略使用情况。实验表明,大部分学生对自主学习中心的英语学习持积极肯定观点,但他们使用最多的是认知和元语言策略,却很少使用社会策略。
According to the requirement for learner autonomy,many self-access centers have been established. This paper reports on a study which examines the extent to which specific cognitive,social and metacognitive strategies are used by non-English majors when studying in self-access center. Data,collected by questionnaires and interviews from the freshmen in Chongqing University,identify the frequency with which students use a self-access center and examine how they use strategies and evaluate the self-access center. The majority of participants were found to have positive attitudes towards the self-access center and leaner autonomy. Moreover,most students were found to use cognitive and metacognitive strategies while less than half of the students used social strategies when they learn English in the self-access center.
