Report on an Investigation into the Girl Children Education for Uighur Nationality in Xinjiang(Ⅱ):The Educational Subjects’ Status and Perception

本研究运用性别和文化相对主义的双重视角透视维族女童的教育现状,通过文献资料和半结构性访谈调查的方式,搜集维族女学生成长经历,以教育主体,即维吾尔族女童的感受和地位为调查研究的中心,分析少数民族女童教育的现状与发展走向,揭示中国社会在现代化进程中,少数民族女童在教育经验和观念层面上的变化,为进一步探讨性别公平问题提供新的切入点。

This paper adopts a dual perspective of sex and cultural relativism to examine girl children education.Through the literature review and semi-structure style interview,this paper has collected sufficient dada on the girl children growth,their status and their perception of education,for the purpose of revealing the current conditions for ethnic minority girl children education and predicting the developmental tendency.From the data,we discover the changes in the practices and opinions of girl children’s education during China’s development,which provide a new breakthrough point for research on educational equity between the two sexes.
