Achieving Effective English Writing through Synectics Teaching Mode

摘要 提喻法是创造学领域的一种特殊方法,被广泛应用于企业和学校教学。随着我国大学英语教学改革的深入推进,大学英语写作研究在培养学生应用英语专业知识,提高写作能力上取得了很大成就。本文探讨如何利用提喻法来促进大学生的创造性思维培养,以激发学生对大学英语写作的兴趣,提高其写作能力。 Synectics has been widely used both in industrial settings and educational contexts as a means to develop participants’ creative thinking capacity.This paper suggests that Synectics can also be used in College English writing class in China.Firstly,it briefly reviews the history,definition and terminology of Synectics.Then a writing class is demonstrated and discussed to serve as an example of how to implement the Synectics model in College English writing class.It is argued that by appropriately and successfully implementing this model,students can improve their creative writing skills.
