The Construction of “High, Strong, Great” Talents Fostering System for Liberal Arts Programs in Higher Vocational Colleges

高职院校文科类专业的培养目标是"高强大",能力结构是双核能力,培养模式是立体式的多元化,保障体系是制约与自主的协调。这四部分形成一个环环相扣的整体,这种结构要求定位合理、方案科学、教学实效、师资达标、管理到位,同时还需要相应的环境支撑。

The aim of liberal arts programs in higher vocational colleges is to foster "high, strong, great" talents, with "high" standing for "high professional quality", "strong" standing for "strong competitiveness in the job market" and "great" standing for "great potential for career development". The talents are supposed to have dual-core competency with the help of a three-dimensional and diversified mode of education and a guarantee system that is coordinated by constraint and self-autonomy. The aim, the competency, the mode and the guarantee system are the four essential parts working together as a whole, whose sound functioning requires a suitable positioning of talents, a scientific way of fostering, a highly efficient method of teaching, a team of qualified staff, a safe guarantee system and a supportive environment.
