摘要
关联理论认为交际模式应该是"明示—推理"交际,即发话人给出符合关联的明示刺激,受话人对此作出恰当的推理,从而领会发话人的意图。在英译中国民歌中的衬词时,译者需了解英汉歌曲中衬词的使用差异,把握英语受众的认知环境,从而选择恰当的翻译策略。
According to relevance theory,the communication should be ostensive-inferential,in which the communicator gives ostensive stimuli relevant to the audience,who makes assumptions about them and identifies his intention.Hence,this paper points out that the translator should know the differences between English and Chinese extra-function words in songs,including his English audience’s cognitive environment in order to make a right choice of translation strategies.
