摘要
世界"梦工厂"好莱坞将目光不断聚焦中国,"中国符号"正逐渐成为好莱坞电影中的元素,在好莱坞也掀起了"中国热"。这股热潮盛行的原因,主要包括好莱坞自身发展的需要,美国推行文化霸权,以及中国的崛起等几个方面。对于"中国符号"的流行,一方面要警惕好莱坞对其过分的使用;另一方面,要看到"中国符号"走向世界是一种趋势,"中国热"势不可挡。
Hollywood, the ‘Dream Factory’ of the films, is focusing on China intensively and "Chinese Symbols" has become an indispensable "Chinese gravity" and component part of modern Hollywood films. The essay proposes three reasons for that:Hollywood’s business interests drive, the need to promote America’s cultural soft power as well as the influence of China’s development. On one hand, we have to be alert to Hollywood’s "unchaste" mining of Chinese Symbols; on the other, we should be confident enough that "Chinese Symbols" is set to go global. ‘Chinese Symbols’ increasing popularity around the world can not be prevented.
