《政府工作报告》涉及政治、经济、生活、文化各个方面,它为其他要了解中国国情的国家提供了良好的平台。因此《政府工作报告》的翻译至关重要。衔接是语篇分析中最重要的手段之一,在中英对比翻译研究中起到非常重要的作用。从语篇衔接手段入手,以2014年的《政府工作报告》为研究对象,对衔接手段的运用进行对比分析,比较其中的汉英衔接手段使用的异同,有助于说明衔接手段在政论文体中的运用以及通过对比如何更好地进行翻译。
The Government Work Report, as the essence of China’s political policy, involves the aspects of politics, economy, life and culture. The Government Work Report reflects China’s situation and it provides a good chance for other countries to have a better understanding of China. Therefore, the translation of the Government Cohesion is of great importance. Cohesion, a discourse analysis style, plays a significant role in C-E translation study. Based on the cohesion theory proposed by Halliday & Hanson, the thesis takes the Government Work Report of 2014 as an example, trying to find out the similarities and differences of its cohesive devices between Chinese and English versions, aiming to illustrate the application of cohesive devices in the Government Work Report and how to translate it better.
