摘要
随着开办商务英语专业的院校不断增多,如何开展有效的商务英语教学成了关注的热点。而关于商务英语教学的研究仍处于初步探索阶段。体裁教学法作为商务英语教学的重要方法之一,为不少研究者所提倡,但大多是理论阐述,鲜有案例分析。目前体裁教学法在港澳高校中已被广泛使用,而借鉴成功的教学经验将更有利于教学的展开。基于香港城市大学商务英语课程一学期的观摩以及对授课教师的访谈,描述、剖析教师如何在写作教学中使用体裁教学法,并借鉴成功的教学经验创新高校商务英语写作的教学方法。
In recent years, effective ways of teaching Business English have become a central topic of in Business English studies in China. However, Business English pedagogy has still been under-explored in mainland universities. Genre-based teaching approach, a widely adopted teaching approach in Business English instruction, has attracted much attention. Much discussion regarding this topic remains to be theoretical in China. However, genre-based teaching approach has been widely used in Hong Kong and Macao. Therefore, successful lessons can be learnt from their teachers’ classroom practice. Based on one semester’s observation of English for Business Communication course and interviews with the instructor, this article introduces mature practice of genre-based teaching pedagogy from City University of Hong Kong.
