美式'Stand-up Comedy'是街头文化的一种表现形式,它在跨文化交流中扮演了重要的角色。美式'Stand-up Comedy'作为一种独特的幽默形式,是美式文化的集大成者,其深度和广度制约着受众的理解。基于文化图式理论以文化对应、缺省、相异三种表现形式对美式'Stand-up Comedy'进行认知解读有助于提高跨文化交流意识,与此同时,实现文化图式共享能够解决未来中美跨文化交流当中出现的幽默理解认知障碍问题。

The Stand-up comedy in America is a street pop-culture, which plays an important role in crossculture communication. The Stand-up comedy, as a unique form of humorous entertainment, is the epitome of the American culture, and its cultural depth and breadth of often undermines audience’s understanding of it. Based on cultural schema theory, this paper is a cognitive explanation of Stand-up comedy in terms of cultural matching, cultural absence and cultural difference, addressing cognitive obstacles to the humor in the Sino-American communication.
