When the wild D.sophia seeds were gathered, they were easily to be mixed with seeds of some other wild plants such as Th.arvense, E.sative and R.elata etc. Research results showed that there were distinctive morphological differences in seeds and seedlings between D.sophia and the other wild plants. According to the morphological differences, the purity of D.sophia seeds in the early stage can be effectively determined so that they can be sorted out more quickly.
