The Properties of Design Culture and its Edification to Western Development

西部大开发是党中央面向新世纪做出的重大决策,经济的开发必然要受到相应文化形态的推动。所以在这里提出设计文化并对其与西部大开发的关系进行研究。着重阐述了设计文化的性质及其内涵与外延的多样性,结合西部社会状态进行分析,将设计文化理念应用于西部经济建设,提出了“西部设计,设计西部”的宏观战略。

The Great Development of the Western Region is vital decision made out by the central government of our Party facing the new century. As the development of economy is necessarily impelled by some culture, the design culture is presented here and the relations between it and Western Development are discussed. This paper expatiates the properties of design culture and the divesification of its connotation and epitaxy. Combining with the western social situation, we analyze how to apply the idea of the design culture to the economic constructioon of west, and put forward a great strategy--Western Design and Design West.
