马蒂斯的色彩艺术站在人的精神和谐的高度认识色彩,以扩大色域的平面性和抽象性的方式,极力张扬色彩的个性和感情,以色彩的感情因素来创造新的色彩结构,并由此启发西方色彩艺术越来越注意反映人的内在色彩律动和色彩的真正生命存在,使色彩在离开物体的表面之后,具有了色彩艺术的独立系统。马蒂斯色彩艺术的风格变化多样,具有鲜明的阶段性特点,其独特的精神意义和色彩结构是20世纪西方色彩发展历程中具有重要意义的里程碑,深深吸引着后来者的目光和心灵。
Color recognition in Matisse's works was established on spiritual harmony. By extending flat and abstract range of color, the personality and feeling in color were exaggerated greatly. He created new color tissues by feeling in color. All these remind artists to pay more attention to the reflection of internal rhythm of person and life's real existence in color, which resulted in an independent system when color is removed from the face of objects. The style in Matisse's art is versatile and characterized in different stages.
