Medical Therapy Advance of Chronic Sinusitis

本文就近年慢性鼻窦炎药物治疗研究中有关抗生素治疗、抗过敏治疗、免疫缺陷治疗和改善鼻-鼻窦粘液纤毛传输功能治疗以及儿童慢性鼻窦炎药物治疗等方面的最新进展作一综述。

medical therapy is the first treatment for chonic sinusitis,and surgical intervention is accepted only after medical therapy failed or complications occurred.surgical therapy should be limited in amending anstomical abmnormity (such as devistion of nasal septum and ostiomeat complex malformation),and medical therapy is necessary in the period surround the operation.The aim of medical therapy is to control infection and to improve aeration of sinuses and to renew physiological function of nose and sinuses.Medical therapies include anti-inflammation treatment,anti-allergy treatment,promote restoration of ciliary motility,and improve immunodeficiency,etc.this article reviewed literatures of recent 10 years,and summarized the new advance of medical therapy research of chronic sinusitis.
