探讨英汉翻译过程中如何对句子隐含的情态含义进行外化翻译具有十分重要的意义。在以往的研究中,人们的研究多局限在对句子的表层进行分析而总结出翻译技巧,实际上也可以从动词进行式、句式、语序、用词以及标点符号等几个方面进行英汉互译中句子情态含义的翻译。

It's of great importance to explore how to translate the mood between lines both in English and Chinese.Most of the previous researches were limited in the generalization of the translation skills which only depend on analyzing sentence surface structures.However,the translation of mood can be realized by using verb progressive aspect,changing sentence patterns and word order,selecting appropriate words and punctuations.
