The article expounds the philosophic meaning of 'Keeping pace with times', that is, our guiding principle, line, policy and actions guided by them should all suit with the requirements of the character of times. As the theoretical character of Marxism, 'Keeping pace with times' requires the CPC to be in the front row of the era, to grasp the essence of the age, to guide the new practice with the developing Marxism based on practice.
