摘要
与印度佛教相比,中国佛教基本上是大乘佛教的天下。大乘佛教慈悲救度的价值取向、扫相显空的思维方法与众生皆可成佛的心性论思想都可以在儒道思想中找到对应的内容。这种对应就成为大乘佛教在中国得以广泛传播的思想根源。而儒道学术史上融合兼综的传统又培养了中国义学僧人融纳会通的精神,使大乘佛教创造性地发展出圆教形态。
Chinese Buddhism is Mahayanist.The salvation spirit,emptiness method and Buddha nature theory all can find their counterpart in Confucianism and Taoism.These do a great favor for Mahayanist to propagate in China.Chinese tradition has cultivated a lot of great men for Buddhism and they have developed Buddhism into a new stage.
