Building and Application of a Small Cluster System Based on MPI and Commodity PC

基于商品化部件的高性能集群计算作为一种未来主流的并行计算系统,正受到越来越多的关注。首先介绍了一个基于NT的小型集群系统的建立,在此基础上讨论了滤波反投影算法(FBP)的并行化方案及其实现,并对实验结果进行了分析;最后提出了对现有MPICH.NT系统的优化改进建议。

Cluster Computing based on commodity components, as a computing model with great potential, is getting more and more attention. This paper first presents building of a small cluster system. Then, an analysis of Filtered Back-Projection(FBP) and its clustering implementation. Cluster Filtered Back-Projection, is provided. Finally, we give out some optimization advices for a popular MPI system, MPICH.NT.
