摘要
CORBA是一种当前流行的基于对象技术的中间件平台 .CORBA对应用屏蔽了分布式系统的异构性 .然而目前许多 CORBA系统没有充分地考虑容错问题 ,而容错是运行在异构环境中的分布式应用的核心问题之一 .因此 ,在最近几年对容错 CORBA的研究成为 CORBA技术的一个研究热点 .本文讨论了对象复制技术的若干问题 ,提出了基于标准组通信机制的、能够容忍节点故障也能够容忍数值错误的基于选举的主动复制策略 .
Nowadays the Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) is a popular middleware platform based on object technology. CORBA shields distributed applications from the heterogeneity of the bare distributed system. Till recently many CORBA systems did not address the fault tolerance issue sufficiently, which is actually one of the core problems of distributed applications running upon a heterogeneous environment. As a consequence, in the last few years, research on Fault-Tolerant CORBA becomes one of the focuses of CORBA technology. This paper discusses some issues of object replication technology, and present voter-based active replication strategy based on standard group communication mechanism and tolerant with either node failure or mathematics error.
