A Micro Interpretation of the Mechanism of North East Asian Cooperation:from the Game Theory Perspective

新制度主义把国际合作视为一种谈判和博弈的过程。个体为了实现共同利益 ,需要经过复杂的谈判和不断的博弈 ,谈判和博弈的结果便是国际制度的形成和国际合作的出现。但博弈的形式是多种多样的 ,而不同的博弈模式下 ,合作形成的条件和难易程度不同。同时 ,博弈的重复性预示着合作机制的建立将是一个长期的和艰巨的过程。东北亚地区的合作同样如此。

Neo-institutionalism holds that international cooperation is a process of game playing and bargaining. The individuals need to experience complicated bargaining and continuous game playing in order to realize the common interests. The consequence of the game playing and bargaining is the forming of international system and the appearance of international cooperation. The condition of the formation of cooperation and the difficulties under the different patterns of game playing are different since the forms of game playing are various. Furthermore, the repeating of the game playing predicts the forming of the cooperation mechanism to be a very long and hard process, which will be the case of the cooperation in Northeast Asia.
