The paper introduced the calculating method for amoumt of false air and false air coefficent. Based on the measured data, the existing documents and literatures ,as well as the theoretical calculation, the author showed the influence of air leakage on the operating parameters as well as techno econemical indexes of the equipment. The paper pointed cut that good technical management to secure airtight showed not be ignored in order to raise the profit, bring out the equipment potentials and reduce the energy consumption.
