摘要
IPv4尽力交付的FIFO分组交换机制已不适应实时多媒体数据传输和QoS的应用需求,为此,IPv6中引入了流的概念,并在基本头部设置了一个流标号字段. 阐述了IPv6流标号的基本特征和功能要求,分析了路由器处理流标号的机制.
Considering the shortage of FIFO packet switching mechanism of IPv4 in the transmission of real-time multimedia data and QoS, this paper introduces the concept of flow in IPv6 and designs a flow label field within the main header of IPv6. The basic characteristics and function requirements of IPv6 flow label are discussed and the mechanism of router in processing flow label is analyzed.
