This paper makes investigation on the problems that existed in the pull rods used in double-row pipe pile wharf during dumping fill, and suggest that, if we raise up the elevation of pull rod and take off the steel guide members, as well as increase the span of pull rods, the labour intensity will be reduced, a lot of engineering cost will be saved,and the construction period will be sho-rtened.
